My Grandparents moved to London from Lagos Island in the 1940s during the British colonial rule to study. They bought a house in Paddington and shortly after started a family. Soon after giving birth to my Father and his twin sister, they moved back to Lagos. They passed away when my Father was very young, leaving my great Grandmother to raise my Father and his siblings. My Mother and Father returned to West London in 1985.
